A guide on how to set the OEM/replacement remotes up for your Vu+, Duo, Solo satellite receiver. The same remote can work all different models of box but only 1 at a time.

VU+ HD opensource linux enigma 2 based satellite receiverHi all, I bought a vu+ solo recently and when I tried to set it up there was no remote control function, I thought I had bought a quite expensive brick but then i found i had to reprogram the remote control as the come factory set for the vu+ uno apparently.

Anyway heres the procedure:
you can change the system code of your vu+ universal rcu to the vu+ model that you want to control.
the default is mode 2

MODE 1 : SOLO/DUO
MODE 2: UNO
MODE 3 and 4 : reserved for future models

press and hols 2 and 7 for three seconds untill the led turns red
press help
press 0001 or 0002 or 0003 or 0004

This will then allow you to use your selected vu+ model.
